What this quote is trying to say is that no matter what you do, if you're choosing the wrong it’s not the right thing to do. If you're choosing the right then that’s not the wrong thing to do. It’s never wrong to do right but it’s bad to always do wrong. When you chose the wrong you will learn from your mistakes. You may end up in jail or house arrest. Until something bad really happens, that’s when people start to understand. If you choose the right and go on the right path, then you know what you want to do in life. Choosing the right, you set good examples for kids younger than you. You give them hope that dreams do come true if you work hard for your dreams. Don’t let CTW people come into your life and mess it up. Encourage people to follow their dreams and in the end, you can you made it. If you follow the bad path by drinking and doing drugs, then where will you go later on in the future? Always do what’s right, even if everyone is against it.

What this quote is trying to say is that when you are enthusiastic it brightens up your day and everyone else’s day. Enthusiasm is what makes the difference between Tigger or Eeyore. When you are happy and have a lot of excitement then you make everyone else want to have fun. If you're going on with your day sad and exhausted then that is going to bring people’s spirits down. They are going to feel the exact same way you are. Have enthusiasm for school or for sports. If you really want to do something then go for it. Don’t stop yourself from doing something that you love and want to do. So great enthusiasm when it comes to working with someone. Don’t kill your day or make yourself feel worse just because something happened and it killed your day. Keep your head high no matter what. Don’t let one bad thing stick with you throughout the whole day. Being happy is what makes a difference. In school, if you want to get good grades, then go for it. Do what you can to get those A’s and B’s. Enthusiasm is the key to living a happy life.

I think I wouldn’t like to be one because my drawing isn’t very good and I would rather like to see an actual heart, not draw them.

What this quote is trying to say is that not everything in life should be a game. You should do things because it’s the right thing to do. Don’t wait until someone has to tell you to do something right in your life. Do it without any hesitation. You should be in the right path by choosing to do whats right. If you do bad things then you will not be one step closer to your dreams. Every time you do what's right without anyone telling you, you get a good feeling in your body. Good things happen to good people. If you do right then maybe sometime later on in life, you will get rewarded for always showing respect to other people. This can impact my life by knowing that I shouldn’t think about myself all the time. I need to go out and do whats right no matter what. Knowing that the person I helped is grateful, I’m happy because I did something right.

What this quote is saying is that you lead your life how you want it to go. No one should tell you what to do with your life or tell you how to run it. You know what you want to be in the future. Don’t let anyone ruin the path you chose to go because you don’t know if they will lead you down the right path or the wrong path. Trust yourself for you know where you are going. If you choose to lead your life the right way, then nothing should be a problem. You may get stressed or exhausted but in the end it’s going to be all worth it. You just have to follow your dreams and what you have ready for you to live the life you want. Don’t let drugs or alcohol come in the way of your future for that will lead you down the wrong path. You do you and focus on your education needed. In the end it’s going to be you and you will be proud of what you accomplished.

What is your passion and why it is a passion of yours?

• My passion is to play volleyball because I really like to play. It’s a fun sport and I can play whenever I am bored at my house or play with my cousins or friends. Volleyball really helps me when I need to get something off of my chest because knowing that I can play gets me relaxed.

How can you make this passion become your profession?

• I can make my passion my profession by continue to play and maybe join the volleyball team in school. Also so I can continue playing for college and maybe get my kids into playing volleyball and teach them what I know.

What education is required?

• The education required is to have experience playing before and you must know the game very well.

What skills, talents, and attitudes are required?

• The skills that is required is you need to have good experience with volleyball and know how to play and get along with your teammates.

  

Reflection: What are you willing to do in order to make your passion your profession?

• I’m willing to work hard and not give up because volleyball is what I love doing in life. I love to play with friends and get a game on. Everytime i watch the volleyball games I think to myself “I wish that was me playing with the team and going to tournaments.” I know someday it will happen but if it doesn’t then i know that maybe volleyball isn’t for me and I should start looking for a new passion.

Educating the Body, Mind, and Character

“Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the BODY, the MIND, and above all the CHARACTER, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation.”

What this quote is trying to say is that sooner or later a kid will become an adult and they will have to start to make their own decisions. Their body, mind, and character must be good to enter the adult life. They need to know how their life is going to be after they turn 18. If their character is not good, they need to learn how to make it better. They need to realize that they’re going to be on their own, getting through life how they can.  If you have a bad character, mind, or body how will you get far. You must learn that in life, you must be treat people how you want to be treated. If your character is bad and you treat someone with disrespect, they are not going to want to be your friend. They will treat you with the same attitude you treated them with. Having a good body and mind is what will help you get through life. You won’t be as stressed or exhausted because you know how to free your mind and body to just relax.

I think I would like to be one because since I was smaller, I’ve been wanting to work in the medical field. I want to either be an RN or a medical surgeon.

This quote means that you should take responsibility for what your body does, what your mind says, and how your spirit acts. If you don’t want anything happening with those three things, then don’t do something that will mess up the opportunity. When you take time to map out your life nothing should go wrong. You will already know how your life should turn out to be. If your life isn’t at all what you wanted it to be, then somewhere down the road you hit a bump in the road. Don’t stress yourself as much where you feel exhausted. Your body, mind, and spirit should be clean from negativity and stress. Don’t let anybody come into your life that is going to get you stressed for no reason. Do what you want to do in life, and your body, mind, and spirit should be balanced. If you feel that there is too much weight on one side of your shoulder, that means you have to let loose and relax. Let your body, mind, and spirit balance out so you won’t be as stressed anymore.

I think I would like to be one because they have good pay and I've been looking into the medical field to be a registered nurse.

Intelliegence plus Character

“Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.”

This quote means that you must have a good character to be intelligent. If your character is bad, your intelligence may not be as good either. A good character is what shapes you as a person. This means that you are nice to people and you respect them. In other words, you can be very smart but your character isn’t or vice versa. It all depends on you but, why not have both? Being intelligent and having a good character everyone would like to have you around. Your personality is great and if they need help on something, they know they can turn to you to help them. If you have a bad character will that make you intelligent? You will probably be making side comments out loud that you don’t want to do the work. In order to get into a good college or have a good future, you must pay attention in class so you know what you have to do. Also having a good character may help as well. Other people will like to help you in certain questions you don’t get and then you can do the same.

Have Courage

What this quote is trying to say is that we need to start taking a stand for what we want to do. We shouldn’t let other people choose our future for us. If you don’t want to be what you're mom tells you to be, do what you want to become in life. Do what’s going to make you happy because in the end, your future depends on you. If your friends tell you to do drugs but you don’t want to, have the courage to stand up to them and tell them. Don’t let them pressure you into doing something you know will get you in trouble. Stand up for yourself. Do what you want to do with your life. Don’t let the wrong people come in and they turn your life upside down. Create a future with the right people. People that are going to take you all the way. Not someone who is going to leave you hanging at the end of a cliff. Step up and do what you want to become. Follow your dreams and in the end you can say “I made it!”

Winter Break

Winter break

I didn’t really do much on my winter break. The most exciting thing I did was go to the movies or hang out with my friends. The movies we went to go see were “Sing” and “The Underworld: Blood wars.” Since I hurt my foot over the break I really wasn’t able to do much. I stayed home icing my foot. If i wanted to go out I had to use my crutches. I spent my Christmas at my house. Some of my family members came over and we ate tamales and drank hot chocolate. For new years, we went to a party but then we left so we can spend new year's with my family at home. I also had a small party for my birthday. Family came over and we ate hamburgers, we danced, and laughed together. The final thing I did was we threw a party for my grandpa. He turned “not that old.”
