This quote means that even though there is a lot of people choosing the wrong, doesn’t mean you go and choose the wrong to fit in with the crowd. Do what you think is the right thing to do. Don’t let other people control how your life should be ran. Do what you gotta do and you will succeed because your life is based on the decisions you make. No one should make decisions for you. Let them make their own decisions even if they are bad. You can’t control another person’s life so let them be. If they see what they’re doing is right then you go on with life. Your life will be good because you're in control. No one else but you. Always choose the right, even if stand alone.

What this quote is trying to say is to not let other decisions come in the way of succeeding. For example, telling yourself that you’re going to go home and finish the essay that is due for homework but then want to make plans to go out after school to a friend’s party is wrong. Don’t let excuses come in the way of you trying to make your life better. Finish what you gotta do first and then if you have time you can go and have fun with your friends. Put your education first then any other activities you want to go and do. Be successful in life because that’s what you're parents want to see. They want to see you graduate from high school and go to grad-night or prom. If you continue to choose the right and not make any bad decisions along your way, then you will become someone in life. You will achieve the goals you have set for yourself and make that good name for you.

1. A school homecoming is a tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school’s existence.
2. We celebrate homecoming because we are welcoming back students that graduated before and they can see old friends.
3. Events and activities related to homecoming would be pep rallies and a homecoming dance.
4. It’s called a “homecoming game” because the president of Missouri, Chester L. Brewer decided to lighten up the rivalry with a parade and festivities back in 1911 to show support for the football game.
5. Homecoming etiquette is the rules or attire someone has to follow by. Homecoming dances are usually semi-formal. A rule for homecoming would be to be respectful.

A Good Name

What this quote is trying to say is that you get a good name by making good choices. Be remembered as someone who always chose the right instead of choosing the wrong. Make the right decisions to succeed in life. If you choose to make bad choices you won’t go no where. You won’t have a house, or the dream car you want, or the amount of money you want by constantly choosing the wrong. Good choices get rewarded but bad choices don’t. Choose the right and everyone will know you for you. Don’t chose the wrong to fit in with the wrong crowd. Make a good name for yourself even if you have to get that name on your own. Be with people that will help you get through life not people who are going to be keeping you from continuing on with life.

I think I wouldnt like to work in another country because even though it’s good to travel, I wouldn’t want to leave my parents behind. I want to help them and leaving wouldn’t help.

What this quote is trying to say is to make your name by who you are not who you want to be. Don't let people write a name for you. You write the best name you want people to remember you buy. Make good decisions to be remembered as someone good not someone bad that does drugs and chooses the wrong. Don't let money or being rich chose the name for you. Be someone in life and don't worry about the money. You will get the money in the future all you do is work hard for it.  Make something out of your life and make your dreams come true.

What this quote is trying to say is that no matter what stand up for what you think is right. If u see a person is doing wrong, stand up and tell him/her what they’re doing is wrong. Don’t let people judge you for standing up for what is right. People in life are not going to accept who you are as a person but that’s when you go and do what makes you happy. Help people around you that you see is making bad decisions. Don’t see it and not try to stop it. Try your best to, even if you fail. If you fail once doesn’t matter. Keep trying and never give up to make life a better life. If there is nobody that will stand with you then just stand alone.   What this quote is trying to say is that choosing the right makes you look like a good person. The way you act is how people will see you as. If you choose to make bad choices, people will see you as a bad kid or a ctw. If u make good choices then you will probably be remembered by the nice things that you do. Do good things in life. Don’t you want to be remembered by someone because of your kindness? I know I do. Don’t make bad choices so people can remember you as a criminal or a stealer.     Christopher Columbus was an italian explorer, navigator, colonizer, and the citizen of the Republic of Genoa. He made four trips in 1492, 1493, 1498, and 1502. Though he didn’t discover the “new world,” his journeys marked the beginning of centuries of transAtlantic conquest and civilization.

     

     Columbus day is a holiday where we celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus arrival in and the discovery of the american continent on October 10, 1492. The united states celebrates it as “Dia de la Raza.” (Day of the Race). This holiday is to honor Christopher's achievements and celebrating Italian-American heritage.

Reflection: My thoughts on Columbus day is that it’s nice that they named a day after Christopher even though he didn’t discover something new. He still brought back what he found out and discovered while on his voyage.

Be Obedient

This quote means that if you do the right things then your life will go on. By being disobedient your life is going to crash. Don't do wrong choices because you feel like that's the best thing to do. Make the right choices and succeed in life. All the choices you make are on you but making wrong ones is going to determine how far you will get in life. Make obedience the key to your life. Don't expect to act disobedient and then get an award for it. Act, Say, and Do the right thing not the opposite. If you want to get somewhere in life, you have to work hard towards your goals. Don't mess up everything you have planned for, and then try to figure out how you're going to fix everything in the end.
