Homecoming 2016
- A school homecoming is a tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school’s existence.
- We celebrate homecoming because we are welcoming back students that graduated before and they can see old friends.
- Events and activities related to homecoming would be pep rallies and a homecoming dance.
- It’s called a “homecoming game” because the president of Missouri, Chester L. Brewer decided to lighten up the rivalry with a parade and festivities back in 1911 to show support for the football game.
- Homecoming etiquette is the rules or attire someone has to follow by. Homecoming dances are usually semi-formal. A rule for homecoming would be to be respectful.
