“I trust that my hard work will pay off.”
What this quote is trying to say is that if you believe in yourself, then everything at the end will be worth it. All the hard word, homework, schools, waking up in the morning for school, will be worth it once you know what you want to become in life. If you set a goals, strive for it. Do everything you can to make sure you accomplish what you want to do. Don’t set a goal then later on in life start slacking off. Stick to what you say. If at first you don’t succeed, don’t give up. Never give up on something you love doing. If you want to become a doctor, then start studying to become one. Set goals to accomplish the goals you set. All the hard work you’ve done all throughout your life, will pay off. Don’t throw away your dream because someone tells you, you won’t make it ‘till the end. Use that as advice to push yourself to work harder. Show those people that you're not a failure and you can do what you have set for yourself. You may have faith in other people, but you must always have faith in yourself. If you believe you can do it, then go for it. At first you may not succeed but don’t give up.

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”
What this quote is trying to say is that if you make the right choice you will be granted freedom. For example, if you go out and start doing drugs you may get caught. This will end up having a record, going to jail, or you stay under house arrest. If you do that, you won’t be able to go out anywhere except from your house to school and back. Why lose the chance in going out and having fun. You will be able to go out with your friends and eat, go to parties, have a good time. If you want to go out so you can do illegal things, then you won’t have the right to freedom anymore. You will be stuck at home bored. Your parents will be disappointed in you, they probably won’t talk to you for a while. Ask yourself this “Is the short term gain worth the long term pain?” Maybe for a little while you will feel good, but later on in life, you may think to yourself “Man I was an idiot for doing drugs. Now my own family is disappointed in me.” Do you really want to feel guilty knowing you can’t change what you did?

“They’re only truly great who are truly good.”
What this quote is trying to say is that a person who acts great are the good people. The people that go out and steal and do drugs, are the type of people you don’t want to be around. They will only lead you to failure. Hang with the good people. The people that study, do homework and actually care about their future. They’re the people that will lead you to success. Don’t mess up your career because you refuse to get rid of the friends that aren’t going to lead you anywhere. Hang out with people that you know are right for you. The ones that are going to help you on assignments or is going to be there for you when you need them the most. Those good people are the ones that are truly good. The ones that you want to have in your life no matter what obstacles come your way.

“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it.”
What this quote is trying to say is to not cheat. You can’t do something wrong and feel good about it. For example, you can’t cheat on a test because sooner or later you're going to feel guilty that you did it. It’s not fair to everyone else who actually did study for the test. If you didn’t study, you didn’t study. Don’t cheat because you don’t want to get a bad grade. You should use that as a lesson for next time. Maybe next time you will study and feel good that you got a good score on the test rather than cheating for answer. If you don’t get a question, don’t turn to your neighbor and risk both of you guys getting caught. Instead move on to the next one and come back to it if you have time. Cheating isn’t the answer to anything. Whether it’s in a game, or a sport, or a relationship. Don’t do it at all. In life, not everything is a game. You don’t have to win at everything. By cheating you prove to yourself that you can’t accomplish something by yourself. For example, if you cheat your way through college studying to be a nurse. When you get assigned a patient, you're going to be completely lost. If you just “wing” it, you might end up doing something wrong. There goes your life as a nurse. You will have to go back to college and actually learn something. Don’t cheat, for everything will all end up bad.

“I won’t Cheat.”
-Dale Murphy
What this quote is trying to say is that you shouldn’t cheat no matter what idea comes to your mind. If you're playing a game, you should play the game by the rules. Cheating isn’t something good. You shouldn’t cheat no matter what. Whether it’s on a game, or a sport, or in a relationship, don’t do it. If the other person catches you, they will no longer want to play against you and they probably won’t talk or forgive you for what you did. If you win or lose, it shouldn’t matter as long as you know you went out and played. Don’t let cheating be the pathway to success. Taking that pathway, you're going to come into a lot of bumps in the road. Maybe even stops, wrong turns, U-turns anything. Don’t make your pathway like that. Follow the pathway of your dreams. Strive for that goal that you been wanting to accomplish since you were little. Show the people that cheated their way into college that you did it no matter what. Be proud of who you are. If you have friends that you know is all about cheating, then maybe you should reconsider having them as friends. They won’t lead you anywhere but down the path of wrong choices.

“Character Matters Most.”
-Dale Murphy
What this quotes is trying to say is that your character determines how you act. For example, you can’t play a game if you're going to play unfairly. You shouldn’t cheat on something because you don’t get what to do on the quiz or you don’t know how to play the game. Play fairly and you should be good. Would you like it if someone you were playing against cheated and you lost. Nobody knew he cheated but you. Would like it if he did that to you? Would you think he played fair? You would probably be mad. Lying, cheating, doing drugs, drinking alcohol that isn’t going to take you nowhere. Maybe to jail for intoxication but that’s it. You won’t get a job, a house, a career because you have a bad record when you were younger. Focus on you and you do what is right for you. If you follow your friends that sneak out and go to parties to drink, will they lead you down the path of success? Or will they lead you down a path with dips and bumps in the road. Chose who you want to put in your car to college and a good future. Don’t chose the ones that will have you make a lot of wrongs turns along the way.

“It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today.”

What this quote is trying to say is that no matter what your decisions determine your DESTINY! If you choose to do wrong throughout your life then your future isn’t going to looks so bright. You will wish you never laid your hands on drugs and never had the first taste of alcohol. When you see your friends and how successful they are, you will wish to be in their place. Chose wisely what you want to do in life. For example, if you want to go out and steal, then you must suffer the consequences of getting caught and going to jail.

“The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
What this quote is trying to say is that if you know what you want to do in life, then start creating your path to success. You won’t make it there without a plan on how to achieve it. Follow what your mind has set for you. Follow what your heart wants. Believe in yourself and don’t mess up. You may have bumps in the road, but you can find a way to get back up. Keep your head high and don’t let dumb people mess up your plans. Make the right decisions and your future should be set. For example, if you want to graduate with your class, then strive for that. Do good in school and turn in all your assignments. Then your future is set. Another example would be if you want to have a nice house when you grow up and get good money, then you will do whatever it takes for you to reach that goal. Once you know you're in the right path, all you have to do is work hard. Work hard in high school to get into a good college. Then you can strive for becoming a Lawyer or a Doctor that gets paid good money. In the end, you can look back at your accomplishments and say “I did it!”

“Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly.”
What this quote is trying to say is that you have a choice whether to do good or bad. Whichever one you choose is how your life is going to be. Choose wisely. Do you want to live a horrible life stealing and doing drug or in jail. Or do you want to live a life where you're going to work and getting money. You can have a nice house and a nice car and a nice family. You can also screw that up and end up living in a jail cell or on house arrest not being able to go anywhere but from school and to your house. No more parties, no more hanging out with friends, no more traveling because you chose to act wrong and make the wrong decisions. Before doing wrong think to yourself, “Is this really how I want to spend the rest of my life? Or do I want to actually work hard for my goals and make sure I reach them?” Choosing the right will lead you the right way. You're going to be on a roller coaster that only goes up. You may hit some downs but you can always make sure you keep going up until you reach the goals that you want. Make yourself happy but also make your family happy. Show them that you mean what you say and follow your dreams. Don’t let anyone get in the way of your success.

I don’t think I would like to be one because even though they have good pay, I don’t think this is suitable for me. I would have so many worries as to “What is this happens to me?”

“Act well your part; there all honor lies.”
What this quote is trying to say is that no matter what, you should always do what’s right. Tell the truth and everything will end well. If someone confronts you for something and you know you did it, why lie? Save yourself less trouble by telling the truth. It’s wrong if you don’t help your partner with the project, and then lie to the teacher saying you did. You should choose the right no matter what. Tell the truth when it comes to do so. Don’t do anything dumb knowing it’s going to ruin what you already have planned. Stick to your word. Mean what you say or don’t say it at all. Actually help people out and not lie about it. Either you will live with the guilt, or later on someone will find out about what you did. If you don’t want to get in trouble, play the game right. Don’t cheat and don’t lie. Play the game how it’s supposed to be played. Win or lose it doesn’t matter. You should be proud that you had the experience to do something like that in a lifetime. Who knows, maybe you will be rewarded with something bigger later on in life.
