This quote means that choosing the right is the key to happiness. If you do something right then you remain with the happiness inside of you. Why do wrong then stay with the guilt feeling the rest of your life. If you do good you feel good. Don't do bad and then expect to get rewarded for it. Do good, feel good and then get rewarded for the good things you do in life.
