What this quote is trying to say is to create a high standard for yourself. Don’t create one because that’s what other people expect of you. Put yourself to achieve higher in life. For example, AP classes or honor classes is striving higher for you. If we are in a higher standard in life nothing will bother us because we are focused on what we want to achieve. Aim for what you think is better for you to succeed.
